Purity Begins at the Source
Our organic gardens and wild tea forests are located in the Shennongjia National Nature Reserve – a UNESCO Triple Crown site with pristine air, mineral‑rich soil, and exceptional biodiversity.
・Scientific planting: Guided by the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, we use the Zhongcha 108 cultivar – a radiation‑mutagen of Longjing 43, selected for early budding, disease resistance, and higher amino acids.
・Green pest control: Professional plant protection officers use biological and physical methods only – no chemical pesticides ever. Regular pruning optimises canopy ventilation and leaf quality.
・Strict picking standards: Every leaf is hand‑selected to ensure freshness and uniformity.
All fertilisation follows a science‑based schedule using only organic and bio‑fertilisers.
Zero chemical fertilisers, zero exceptions.
Rigorous Sorting, Meticulous Care
Every batch of tea passes through 2 machine sortings and 3 manual sortings. Red leaves, withered leaves, damaged leaves, old stems, and stray leaves – all removed by hand and by eye.
It takes 5 kilograms of fresh whole leaves to produce just 1 kilogram of finished fine tea – far exceeding industry norms.

Our Social Accountability
We have convinced over 1,000 local farmers to abandon chemical fertilisers and pesticides – one of the hardest things we have ever done. Today, their soil is soft and alive, the river runs with fish, and birds and bees have returned.
We have donated €7,000+ to local education, supporting the children of the families who grow our tea.
And we have done all of this without profit for seven years – because building something real takes time.
